Find Child Care for Babies or Toddlers

The brains of babies and toddlers are growing fast, and quality child care prepares them for success in school and beyond.
If you need help finding a licensed child care program, contact our local Child Care Resource & Referral line at NUMBER or complete THIS FORM and a child care navigator will contact you.
This service can help families find licensed child care programs, including child care centers, home-based programs and, for families that qualify, Early Head Start/Head Start programs.
You can also search for licensed child care and preschool programs on the Raising Colorado Kids website.
Is Your Provider Required to Have a License?

Many Colorado families choose license-exempt child care provided by a family member, friend, or neighbor (FFN). This type of care can be high-quality, and license-exempt providers are still required to follow Colorado laws.
Because license-exempt providers are not monitored by the state, it’s up to families to ensure their children are in a safe, nurturing environment.
Colorado’s child care licensing rules are designed to keep children safe. Click below to find out if your child’s provider is required to have a license .
