Pregnancy Related Mental Health
Pregnancy-related depression and anxiety is the most common complication during pregnancy.
Pregnancy and the first year after giving birth are a time of huge changes.
Some feelings of worry and anxiety are common. But if you or your loved one are feeling extreme worry, sadness, anxiety or depression, there may be something more serious going on.
The Birth Squad Support Groups
Experiencing emotional distress during pregnancy or after the birth of a baby is extremely common. Feelings of sadness, high stress, extreme worry, and wondering if things will ever get better – or if anyone understands.
You are not alone.
The Birth Squad, part of the Colorado Chapter of Postpartum Support International, offers support groups in the Denver area, including groups for Black and Latinx families in English and Spanish. Babies are welcome at both groups.
